Aonghus and Reuben appear in superb RTÉ Lip Dub

SIM member Aonghus McAnally, performing a card production, appears beside previous Irish Magic Convention artist and children's entertainer Reuben in a superb new LipDub to promote RTÉ's Big Music Week.  Kudos to everyone involved, not least writer and director Pat Cowap.

Reuben's New Arrival

Michael Thurston writes -

"I'm sure all who attended Shenanigans will remember Reuben with affection. They might like to join me in congratulating him and his lovely wife on the birth of their first child. Just over a week ago they had a 10lb baby boy. I would like to wish them every joy in the future."

A host of local talent round up the line up for Shenanigans

A host of local talent have been added to the line up for Shenanigans The Irish Magic Convention which starts next Friday 29th April at The Crowne Plaza Hotel, Blanchardstown.  Jack Wise, Pat Fallon & Gill, Nevin Cody, Aonghus McAnally, Tony Sadar (pictured), Brendan Byrne and Reuben will feature over the weekend as either presenters on the "Sessions" or perform on the various Shenanigans Shows.

Remember your full Gold Card registration is an unbelievable €110 (€55 for Partners & Guardians) and includes Saturday dinner and Sunday lunch.  It also includes admission to the After Banquet Cabaret and Sunday Gala Show.  Organisers encourage you to bring family and friends to both the Saturday Dinner and Sunday Gala Show.  You can download flyers for the public shows here.

Reuben's Year Long TV Residency

Magician & mime Reuben has landed himself a residency on the new look RTE kids programming schedule.

Hey all.  Got some good news; RTE have axed The Den and they want some fresh faces with talent on the new 'RTE Jr'.  Unfortunately they couldn't find any so they picked me instead.  Every day for the rest of the year, Mon-Fri at 9.05am I've got 2 minutes of airtime on RTE2 to do whatever I like.  And whatever it is, it'll be repeated at 12.05pm (kids love repetition).  The fun starts this Monday. Strap yourself in for the madness.

Reuben's new TV show

Reuben, comedian, mime, magician, entertainer, and all round brilliantly creative person has some exciting news.  "My new tv show starts this Saturday 27th March, 10.30 am on RTE 2!  It's called The Big Big Bazaar. So what is it about ?Well, think of the rummaging / auctioning of 'Cash in the Attic', mixed with the fun bits of 'The Late Late Toy Show' and the entrepreneurial competitiveness of 'The Apprentice'.  Now take out the adults and put in 9-12yr olds. That's The Big Big Bazaar!  Oh yeah and don't forget, we PUNISH the losers!", said Reuben in bulk mailing to his contact list.
