Confessions of Real Mindreades is a website developed by UK mentalist Kennedy.  He has been able to convince some of the top names in professional mentalism to share some of their genuine secrets and insights. 

Twenty years ago Quentin Reynolds gave his first mentalism show, a show which has developed and grown dramatically since.  Kennedy nailed Quentin down for two and a half hours to talk about the transition from magician to mentalist and confess his experiences along the way. Covering professional routines and advice won from hard graft, Quentin freely discusses and expands on a myriad of topics, performance tips and effects for today's mentalist.

I recently attended, if that is the right word, the superb online convention the Essential Magic Conference.  As part of your registration delegates were given a complete pdf file of the quite brilliiant Opus Magazine.  While browsing it I cam accross the funny little story below.

Quentin's Mouse Routine in Blackpool

Thanks to Brian Daly we are able to bring you the footage of Quentin Reynolds performing his 5 Minutes with Pocket Hanky routine at this years Blackpool Magic Convention. This was shot late one night in The Ruskin Hotel and should give you a taste of the type of fun to be had at the what is probably the worlds best magic convention. Enjoy!

Quentin Reynolds Appearing at Manchester Comedy Festival

"What's on your mind?" is the name of Quentin Reynolds' show which runs every night from Monday 18th to Sunday 31st October as part of The Manchester Comedy Festival.  In the show Quentin explores the psychic and the paranormal, using intuition, hunches, psychometry and telepathy, all presented in a roller-coaster ride of laughter and astonishment.

Quentin on Radio ... Again

Fresh from his appearance on BBC Radio 5 Quentin Reynolds was a guest on RTE Radio 1's Mooney Show earlier today.  Quentin was on to offer balance in a piece with psychic medium Margaret Hurdman.  You can listen to the piece by clicking on the link below.  The complete piece starts at 17 minutes 40 seconds.  Quentin is featured from about the 41 minute mark onwards.

Quentin Reynolds on BBC Radio 5 tonight

For those of you who catch this in time you can listen to Quentin Reynolds on BBC Radio 5 on the Tony Livesey show tonight at 11 30.  Quentin is on to discuss the BBC show Magicians which is due for 2011.  Once it becomes available we will do our utmost to embed it below for you.

Quentin Reynolds' Psychic Game Show...

Quentin & Pat meet the Bishop

SIM members Quentin Reyolds and Pat Fallon recently bumped into a man many of you will remember.  Pat tells IrishMagicNews,

"Twenty years ago I appeared on Jo-Maxi with a young boy who wanted to be a magician. That boy was David Bishop who now lives in France and still uses magic in the course of his business as well as performing in his new homeland. We caught up on old times at the recent Kidsalabim convention in Belgium where he had made the trip to support both Quentin and myself."
