SIM Auction Next Month

We wouldn't bank on this young lady being there but nevertheless there will be plenty of fun to be had as The Society of Irish Magicians host their annual auction on Tuesday February 1st at Cassidy's Hotel Dublin.  The auction will start at 8pm sharp.  Viewing from 7:30pm.  Hence the SIM ask those selling to be in place and set up by 7:30pm.  

In a change to recent years there is absolutely no charge to anyone wishing to attend.  All magicians on the island are welcome free of charge and the SIM expressly invite members from all other societies. 

This year The SIM are introducing their very own Auction Lot.  What is the idea?  The SIM are asking those of you so inclined to donate one decent item to their Lot.  Any monies raised on this Lot will be used to further enhance your enjoyment of the upcoming IBM Ring 85 Convention, Shenanigans.  While The SIM anticipate a good response to this initiative from it's own members items will be graciously accepted from anyone.

A note for Sellers

If you are considering selling items on the night please download the official 'auction form' by clicking on the image of it on the right.  Please fill out the form and number your actual items with stickers or such like so as they correspond to your list.  You will need two copies of your list.  On for the book keepers and one for your own records.  If you need additional space for a large Lot (over 50 items) please print out additional sheets and renumber both your copy and the duplicate.

The auction is a really fun night where you can "turn a few quid" or grab some great bargains.  So please arrive in good time and in good spirits.
