Tony Sadar's Buried Alive :: 1979 Radio Interview with Gerry Ryan
Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 11:22AM
The year was 1979. The occasion was Limerick's first hosting of the Irish Magic Convention. What was needed was some publicity to help bally up attendance at the Gala Show. The man to help was Tony Sadar.
Tony performed a buried alive stunt that perked the interest of the national broadcaster. In the audio below first broadcast on RTE's Saturday Live you hear the late great Gerry Ryan, before his rise to super stardom, talk with Tony as he attempts to cheat death.
Nowadays Tony works as a mind coach and hypnotist. In this role through his clinic MindScope he helps people overcome their fears, give up smoking, lose weight and accomplish their goals.
Enjoy and thank you to Tony for making this available to our listeners.

I remember many years ago seeing an Indian magician perform this in Calcutta, looking at the name Tony Sadar, I was wondering, is this an Indian name? My father was telling me that this man was Irish, absolutely amazing stunt!
