Ex -pat Irish Magician now living in France David Bishop was in touch to send on the following message.
"Hi Brendan, Greetings from France!! Hope all is well with yourself & Irish magic. Things here are great. Busy with magic and set to have my first child in December.
A few titbits from this side of the water. Irish magic is scaling great heights in Paris.
I performed at a corporate international HR dinner in the Montparnasse Tower's Rooftop Restaurant on Thursday night, 56 floors up. The switching on of the Eiffel Tower behind me at 10.30pm as I performed provided the strongest misdirection I have ever had in my life!! I also spent the same afternoon integrating magic into their annual HR meeting to communicate their key messages.)
You will find attached a couple of photos of Michael Ammar and myself during and after his lecture which I translated for an audience of French magicians. A wonderful lecture full of useful advice and great surprises.
Michael told me that he is really looking forward to his trip to Ireland later in the year. He also asked me to pass on the message. For those who have not yet met him in person, he is the most open and sharing magician I have ever met."
All the best!
David Bishop
