The Mystic Circle of Magicians is a small Magic society which places a large emphasis on friendship and fun at our monthly meetings. Because of this we tend not to take things too seriously which in some ways helps people to share ideas and to get up and perform with no pressure put on anyone. The Mystics meet on the third Thursday of each month in the North Star hotel in Amien Street at 8 pm. The Mystics is made up of quite a few working professional Magicians, also a few semi pro's and some dedicated amateurs. Our club is very proud to include Tony Thursby (the man with the golden hands) as one of it's members. The Mystics members range in age from mid twenties to mid seventies. Convention We organise a one day Magic Convention every two years in Drogheda County Louth. This Convention usually provides three Lectures, some Dealers and a Gala Show in the evening. During the year the Mystics host about four Lectures and the other evenings will have some sort of Magical theme attached to them. At present our Society is being steered by our dynamic and resourceful president Fred Corvenio. Fred is a larger than life figure who brings great energy and enthusiasm to the Society and who also performs professionally. To find out how to apply for membership, to attend a meeting or to find out more about The Mystics please contact our secretary. |
